Passed Projects

2m Robotic Telescope Installation – LCOGT

Worked with Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope (LCOGT) on the installation and commissioning of a 2-metre robotic telescope system.

Scope: Assisted with mechanical setup, electronics integration, and control system wiring.
Integration: Implemented automation and network connectivity for remote, autonomous operation.
Outcome: Contributed to the successful deployment of one of LCOGT’s flagship 2m telescopes, supporting worldwide astronomical research and education.

Resad Solar Installation – Whangarei (2025)
Designed and installed a 5kW rooftop solar system with lithium battery storage. The project included advanced monitoring and load management, reducing energy costs and reliance on the grid.

Industrial LED Lighting Upgrade

Converted an industrial workshop to high-efficiency LED lighting, including custom control circuits for automated dimming and energy savings.

Custom PCB Design – Automation Controller

Designed, prototyped, and tested a low-power PCB for relay and sensor control using an ESP32 with Wi-Fi connectivity. Applications included bore pump timing and remote monitoring.
